Project Ahead is pleased to announce the application for the Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2020 Semifinal are now open until 30 January 15 February. The event will take place in Naples on coming 4 April from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Dialogue Place, a coworking space and incubator of social enterprises.
The annual competition organized by Project Ahead is the Italian stage of the international prize Impact2 created by INCO, a global network of accelerators and social startups, aimed at supporting exceptional women who all over world emancipate and face social and environmental problems thanks to their own business.
Every year, different countries take part in this international initiative: Italy, France, United States of America, South Africa, New Zeeland, Rwanda, South Korea, Spain, United Kingdom and Tunisia participated last year.
Thanks to a specialist jury consisting of INCO members, an entrepreneur will be selected to represent her country at the grand finale.
So, the Italian winner will be invited to participate to the international final of the Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award during the Impact2 World Forum in Paris, next March 2020. For our semifinalist, this will be the best opportunity to present and promote her enterprise in front of 1500 change-makers from fifty different countries and to join the global network of INCO.
Until 30 January 15 February, entrepreneurs can apply here if:
Their startup has been created no more than 5 years ago (take-off or pre-development stage); They have a sustainable business model (long-term activities); They have a social or environmental impact (the startups offer innovative solutions to face social or environmental problems in their country or abroad).
The first six candidates who apply within 15 February and meet the requirements will participate to the Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award Semifinal on coming 4 April at Dialogue Place. Here, they will present their enterprises in ten minutes in front of the jury and the other participants.
